Dachshund and Pit Bull Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Blu was brought into the shelter with the rest of his canine family when his human family was experiencing homelessness. He is the last one here waiting for a home. Blu can have a bit of stranger danger at first, and may require multiple meetings for him to be comfortable with you. Once he knows you, he is the most loyal and loving little lap dog! With that being said, we are recommending Blu goes to a home with no kids. He's got springs for legs and thinks the best spot in the house is right on your lap. He's got a funny little personality and is sure to keep you entertained! One of his cutest quirks is burying himself under his blanket. Luckily, we had an amazing dog bed donated with a little "pocket", and Blu gets right in and gets cozy in his little cocoon! He walks great on his leash. He has lived with dogs and cats before, but can be selective with his canine friends.
