Meet Danny!

Danny is a 4-year-old Dachshund mix, a sweet and affectionate little guy weighing about 15 pounds. This smart companion loves attention, cuddling, and kisses, and thrives when he’s part of the action. He has an average energy level and enjoys playing with balls or relaxing with a pig ear or bone. Mostly housebroken, his favorite spots to unwind are the sofa or a comfy chair.

He is still learning some household skills. He walks with enthusiasm on a leash, though he can pull, and he does best when following another dog. He is not crate trained and dislikes car carriers. Because he loves to dig, a secure, escape-proof yard is important; in an apartment, he would need access to a pee pad. He knows commands like "No," "Stop," and "Vamos."

Danny was found with an older terrier friend and they get along beautifully, but his behavior with new dogs, cats, and children is unknown—he does get very excited and will pull when he spots cats on walks.

Danny is located in Houston, TX. Transport to most states is available for an additional fee of $300.
