DESCRIPTION
Meet Bandit!
Bandit is a 2-year-old Dachshund mix weighing 20 pounds and he is a shy little guy with a heart full of love. At first he can be nervous and needs someone who will go slow and give him time to feel safe. Once he trusts you he turns into the ultimate Velcro dog. He loves to sit in your lap, soak up attention, and give the sweetest kisses.
He does wonderfully with older kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a great companion for a home that is patient, loving, and full of company.
Once Bandit comes out of his shell, his sweet and loyal personality shines through. All he needs is a gentle hand and a cozy lap to call his own.
Bandit is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

ABOUT: DACHSHUND DOG BREED
The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
