Please help us welcome SIMON to Dante’s Hope Animal Rescue! 💙🐾
This adorable little guy is as sweet as they come. Simon appears to be a long-haired Dachshund mix (maybe with a touch of Maltese — we can’t be sure, but we are sure he’s precious!).
His foster mom reports he is settling in beautifully. Simon is doing great with the other dogs in his foster home and absolutely adores being with people. He wants nothing more than to be near his person — a loyal little shadow who will happily follow you from room to room.
Simon is approximately 18 months old and weighs just 14.5 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap cuddles, couch snuggles, and everyday companionship. He has a gentle, loving personality and is going to make someone an incredible best friend.
This sweet boy is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for a family of his very own.
If you’re interested in adopting Simon, please visit www.danteshope.com and complete the online adoption application.
Don’t wait — little dogs like Simon don’t stay available for long!
ABOUT: DACHSHUND DOG BREED
The dachshund is a small dog breed known for its long body, short legs, and distinctive appearance. Originally bred for hunting badgers, these playful and loyal dogs make loving companions for families. Dachshunds come in three coat varieties smooth, wirehaired, and longhaired each with its own unique charm. Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
The Maltese is a small toy breed known for its glamorous white coat, which is long, silky, and virtually hypoallergenic. They are gentle, affectionate companion dogs that thrive on human companionship and make wonderful family pets.
