Dachshund and Dutch Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption

This cutie with the scruffy face is Clancy! He arrived at the shelter as a lost pup on 2/20, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers just adore this boy and describe him as everything a puppy should be: curious, friendly, and playful. He is very sweet and wants everyone's attention, so if you're looking for a dog to make the center of your universe Clancy would love to be your boy! He already knows how to sit when asked, and is learning to walk nicely on leash. Puppies are super cute, but they're also a lot of work. Please ensure you have the time, patience, and energy to commit to Clancy before adopting.

Clancy is approximately 6 months old, and weighs 35 lbs. He should be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. Clancy is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Clancy is waiting as patiently as a pup can wait in kennel 302; his ID # is 17080.
