DESCRIPTION
Hi! My name is Daisy and I am looking for a forever home. My previous owner passed away and his wife put me out in the backyard and made me stay there all the time as she didn't want me. Fortunately, a small local rescue asked her about taking her in and she said ok; then they asked BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes ... yeah! Best guess as to my breed mix is dachshund (short legs, long body), chihuahua (little head) and/or Jack Russell (coloring). I am about 3 years old so past all of that puppy foolishness. I am a tad overweight at a little over 15lbs but much to my chagrine, my foster mom is trying to help me regain my girlish figure and am on a diet. Otherwise, I am a happy girl and love getting attention to whoever wants to give me some. I have gotten along with all of the other small dogs I have met; however, I do bark at the big dogs and cats but I do that from the safety of my crate. Talking about crates, I have done really well in mine without any accidents or tearing up of bedding; however, I would prefer to be out with you and may let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear you. I am good on leash which will help in my weight loss program if you like to go on walks. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
