ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. // // Meet Lana — Your Future Snuggle Buddy! Lana is approximately 1 year old and weighs 13 pounds. She is believed to be a dachshund/chihuahua mix. Lana is a total sweetheart and certified cuddle bug! This affectionate girl loves people and greets everyone she meets with pure joy and a wagging tail. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be your shadow and best friend, Lana is ready for the job.

She does well with other dogs and absolutely adores playing with cats — her playful, friendly nature makes her a great fit for a multi-pet home. Lana is happiest when she has company and would thrive in an active household where someone is home most of the time to give her the love, playtime, and continued training she needs.

Lana is currently working on crate training and learning that alone time can be okay. She’s also making great progress with potty training — she’s eager to please and very food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. She already knows “sit,” responds well to basic commands, and has improved tremendously on leash. Walks and outdoor adventures are some of her favorite things!

At home, Lana enjoys gazing out the window, playing with her toys, and chewing on her favorite bones. She’s a happy, loving pup who just wants to be part of the action and shower her people with affection.

If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will fill your home with love, cuddles, and happy energy, Lana can’t wait to meet you. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on her vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.

All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.

Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,
