Meet Bruno! This gentle 5-month-old boy is looking for a stable place to land. Originally a gift for an elderly family member who found a puppy was simply too much to manage, he is now searching for a forever home that matches his sweet and loving nature.

He is a Dachshund mix and currently weighs just 10 lbs. We don’t expect him to get much bigger and believe he will stay under 30 lbs when fully grown—the perfect size for almost any home.

He is a truly sweet, mellow pup who just wants to be near his people. He likes to play and is gentle. He is wonderful with children and very dog-friendly. He has a "go with the flow" attitude that makes him a joy to be around.

He made the long journey from Texas and is ready to settle into a life of belly rubs and cozy naps.If you are looking for a loyal, low-rider companion who is past the earliest puppy stages but still has a lifetime of love to give, he is your guy. He is patient, affectionate, and ready to meet his new family.

The adoption fee for this dog is $500

98% of our adoptables come from out of state. There are higher fees associated as we have to pay to have the animals transported. We are a non-profit rescue. Any access revenue made is used to care for animals with additional medical expenditures that would otherwise result in adoptable dogs having to be left behind and euthanized.
