ANDERSON
Dachshund, Catahoula Leopard Dog
🇺🇸
Sanger, Texas
March 28th
male, medium, baby
DESCRIPTION
Anderson is supposedly a dachshund/Catahoula mix. He is 11 pounds at 2 months old, super friendly, but definitely in the throes of puppy stages.
He will need a puppy friendly foster/adopt home as he likes to put everything in his mouth. He is working on potty training. He received first shots 3/26/26 and dewormer. He will need to return to TCAP In Denton in three weeks for his next set of shots. He will be microchipped at the time of his neuter.
Like most puppies, he is a bit of a loud mouth so an apartment home is likely not a good fit for him unless you want to rack up a noise complaints. He appears to be very dog friendly right now. Unknown with cats.
We will be DNA testing him to confirm his breed mix. He is BIG for only two months old for being part doxie.
Foster homes have first priority to adopt, assuming nothing major changes in the home during the course of fostering.
