Introducing Mr. Bridgerton
It is the greatest pleasure of this author to announce that Mr. Bridgerton, a dashing three-year-old Corgi mix, is officially seeking his forever home. Though found wandering as a stray in rural South Missouri, this charming fellow has wasted no time adapting to the comforts of civilized society—most notably, the couch, upon which he believes he rightfully belongs. He will gladly sleep in a crate, dog bed, human bed, on a couch or a good blanket and pillow.
Mr. Bridgerton’s favored pursuits include long naps, leisurely lounging, and the enthusiastic consumption of treats. He is exceedingly fond of people of all ages (children included) and greets every new acquaintance as though they are a long-lost friend. He is also quite dog-friendly and would be equally content residing with canine companions or reigning as the sole dog of the household.
Cats, however, do not feature in his list of preferred company. One must allow a gentleman his boundaries.
Recently neutered, Mr. Bridgerton is currently sporting a belly band while he works through some lingering marking habits—an issue that may fade with time. What is beyond doubt is his affectionate nature: he is sweet, snuggly, and positively melts under a good belly rub. He has mastered polite society skills such as being house broken, crate trained and learned basic obedience commands, which he will gladly show off with a good treat.
His story begins with a kind lady who rescued him and cared for him, even sewing custom-fitted clothing for his long, low, Corgi-esque physique (yes, the wardrobe comes with him). Alas, her older dogs found his youthful playfulness a bit much, and so his search for a permanent family began.
Mr. Bridgerton seeks a home that will indulge his love of couch-sleeping, appreciate his gentle heart, and welcome a loyal companion who has clearly decided that domestic life suits him splendidly.
Should you be in the market for a devoted, cuddly gentleman with short legs, impeccable charm, and a flair for relaxation, this author suggests you act swiftly. Eligible bachelors of this caliber are rarely available for long.
