Meet Tessa! Tessa is a 2 year old female corgi and she weighs about 24 pounds. Tessa arrived in rescue after coming from a home with too many pups that could no longer care for her. She has settled into foster care nicely and her foster dad said she would like to introduce herself! "Herrrro, my name is Tessa. I’m a very sweet little girl, however, I am EXTREMELY shy and scared until I get comfortable with you. I am also scared of sudden movements and loud noises, so it is ideal for me to have a “safe space” where I can go and hide. I really do like like attention from my human, but I'm scared and it takes time. Once I’m settled and feel safe, I love to run outside and play with other fur friends. I would prefer a home with no young children and a human who can be home with me most of the day. I currently like to sleep in my crate, and will run into it to hide sometimes during the day. I sleep well through the night and I’m doing well on potty training, but an occasional accident could happen when I get scared. If you are looking for a sweet and loving new family member and are willing to work with me, then I’m the pup for you!"
Tessa is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned.
Tessa is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $500. If you are interested in applying to adopt Tessa, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
