Aerie (approximately 58 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This sweet, playful girl features a gorgeous brindle coat as well as a loving & endearing nature. Adorable Aerie is what we affectionately call a "teenage puppy" - at 11 months old she has nearly achieved her adult size, but she does not yet have her adult brain, LOL! Aerie is filled with energy and enthusiasm - she eagerly greets people with loose, soft body language and loves to interact, often showing off her knowledge of the "sit" command in exchange for a treat or praise. While she can keep some tension on the leash, Aerie walks well and has the potential to be a wonderful hiking companion. And Aerie is not only social with people, she is also known to be dog-friendly - she participated in doggie play groups at her previous shelter and had several canine friends there. Aerie is SO ready for her fur-ever home - come make her dreams come true today!
If you'd like to meet Aerie and all of her friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
