Coonhound Dogs Available for Adoption

Cyrus literally was waiting for us at a relative's doorstep one day! We had no idea where he came from and posted "Found" notices at all the shelters, area vet offices and on social media. Nobody came looking for this sweet boy!

Cyrus is friendly, confident, loves to play with people and other dogs. This big lug is about 85-90 lbs., and tall! He clearly was looking for attention and love, and will need an active family that can keep up with a hound's needs. We think he's about 3 years old.

WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs.

If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required, which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.

ADOPTION FEE of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap, so thank you for understanding and helping us save as many as possible.

We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend. If you would like to see a specific animal, please let us know via email and we will try to accommodate. However, we cannot guarantee the animal will be at the event without an approved application. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage or our
