Coonhound and Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption

Shiloh is a 2 year old coonhound mix who is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and preventatives.

Shiloh gets along wonderfully with adults, children of all ages, other dogs, and cats. He’s a playful boy who loves fetch, tennis balls, and rocks.

Around here we call him “Mr. Crumbs or Shiloh Crumbs” because whenever the family gathers at the table, he patiently waits for any crumbs or scraps to fall his way. Because Shiloh has some digestive sensitivities, we are careful about table food and mostly stick to digestive friendly kibble and treats. He does great during bath time, although nail trims are not his favorite.

He still has a puppy-like personality; he’s energetic and can be a little destructive if left alone too long but he also knows how to relax and mellow out when his humans are settling in to watch a movie.

Shiloh is kennel trained and potty trained. Every morning he stands by the door to let us know he needs to go outside. He loves the outdoors, going for walks, and spending time with his people. While he isn’t a big cuddler, he enjoys being close and will happily lay right beside you.

He also shows his appreciation with sweet little leg and foot licks. Shiloh is a loving, playful dog who just needs a family that will give him attention, exercise, and patience. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion who will happily wait by the table for crumbs and by your side for company.
