Oompa - Collie and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

I was roaming the neighborhood looking for someone to take care of me when I got picked up by animal control. I'm very friendly and playful...even a bit rambunctious at times. I need to work on potty training but I'm working on pee pads here at the shelter. My spay/neuter surgery, at one of Kind Keeper's veterinary partners, is included in my adoption fee. Are you looking to add some fun in your life! I'm your kid!! Come meet me!

The Collie is a graceful and intelligent dog known for their loyalty, gentle nature, and exceptional herding abilities. They come in two coat varieties, rough and smooth, with colors ranging from sable and white to blue merle. Collies excel in obedience training and thrive on mental stimulation and physical activity. Their keen intuition and strong bond with their owners make them wonderful family pets and reliable working dogs in tasks such as herding livestock or in search and rescue missions.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
