DESCRIPTION
My name is Tug, I have been at the shelter a couple of weeks. I am pretty skinny but they've been feeding me good and I have been gaining weight at a good pace. I do have a skin issue but the kennel techs here gave me baths and a true spa day. I do not mind other dogs, I love attention and treats. I'm a good boy looking for promise and a great home. I would be good with children and other animals with proper introduction.
Meet Your New Best Friend!
This handsome boy may look a little unsure at first but behind those soulful eyes is a gentle heart just waiting for someone to believe in him. He's a quiet, sensitive guy who takes a moment to warm up- but once he does, you'll see just how sweet and loyal he truly is.
He has a calm presence and would thrive in a loving home where he can feel safe and understood with patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats, he'll blossom into the most devoted companion. He seems like the type who will bond deeply with his person and be happiest right by your side.
ABOUT: COLLIE DOG BREED
The Collie is a graceful and intelligent dog known for their loyalty, gentle nature, and exceptional herding abilities. They come in two coat varieties, rough and smooth, with colors ranging from sable and white to blue merle. Collies excel in obedience training and thrive on mental stimulation and physical activity. Their keen intuition and strong bond with their owners make them wonderful family pets and reliable working dogs in tasks such as herding livestock or in search and rescue missions.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
