Meet 3 year old Jazzy who is being fostered in the Ottawa area

Jazzy is an incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving girl with a calm, low-to-medium energy. She adores cuddling and will happily spend hours curled up beside her human, soaking up affection. On walks, she is friendly and polite, enjoying slow introductions with people and other dogs, often sitting patiently for pets. While typically calm and quiet, her playful side shines when she’s excited or making new furry friends.

She loves the outdoors and thrives on her walks, whether it’s a quick 20 minutes or a long, leisurely hour exploring and sniffing her surroundings. Jazzy is currently living in a condo and does well with regular outings. She isn’t very toy-focused but finds her happiness in cozy blankets, warm snuggles, and quality time with her person.

Jazzy has had a previous pelvic injury, so she may need occasional help with jumping, stairs, or getting into a car. She can be a little unsure in new situations but continues to build confidence every day. She is both house and crate trained, and while she may occasionally pull or tangle her leash, she’s eager to explore and learn.

She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys socializing, showing a gentle and easygoing nature. Jazzy hasn’t met cats or children yet but shows all the signs of being a loving companion in many types of homes. Her ideal home is calm, patient, and full of love—where she can enjoy outdoor adventures and plenty of cuddles.
