DESCRIPTION
Meet Ellington -
Ellington came in as part of a hoarding case. Despite what this poor baby has endured, he is so loving and just wants belly rubs. Ellington is good with other dogs. He has zero experience on a leash, but is smart and can learn. Because of this, we are requiring a home with a secure fenced yard for a small breed dog. He is nervous when he first meets you, so we are not sure how he would do with small children. If you are interested in learning more about this precious boy, please apply to furkids.org. His adoption fee is $185, as he is a senior dog. You must be at least 21 years old to adopt.
ABOUT: COCKER SPANIEL DOG BREED
The Cocker Spaniel is a beloved breed known for its distinct charm, intelligence, and affectionate nature. With origins as hunting dogs, Cocker Spaniels have adapted to become popular family pets due to their playful demeanor and gentle disposition. These medium sized dogs boast a silky coat that requires regular grooming to maintain its luster. Cocker Spaniels thrive on human interaction and make excellent companions for individuals and families alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
