DESCRIPTION
Meet Rex 💙
At just one year old, Rex is the kind of dog that makes you stop and say "wow" without even realizing it. He is absolutely stunning... the kind of gorgeous that turns heads and makes people do a double take. And while his looks might come off a little intimidating at first, don't let that fool you...
Rex has shown us nothing but sweetness since arriving. He greets everyone with tail wags, love, and a gentle spirit that completely contradicts that strong, striking appearance. He just wants to be near his people and soak up all the affection he can get.
Like many young dogs, Rex is still learning the basics. He doesn't know commands like sit just yet, and he isn't house trained, so he will need a patient and committed family ready to put in the time to help him learn. But with consistency, love, and guidance, he has all the potential to grow into an incredible companion.
Rex is ready to learn, ready to bond, and ready to become someone's best friend.

ABOUT: CHOW CHOW DOG BREED
The Chow Chow, a distinctive breed known for its lion like mane and unique blue black tongue, originated in China over 2,000 years ago. These aloof yet loyal dogs are known for their independent nature, dignified demeanor, and protective instincts. Chow Chows require early socialization and training to thrive in a family setting, as they can be stubborn and territorial. With a dense double coat that requires regular grooming and a history as ancient guardians and hunting companions, the Chow Chow remains a fascinating and enigmatic breed in the canine world.
