Goose (a.k.a. Silly Goose, Social Butterfly in a Fur Coat)

Goose is three months old and already operating like she knows she’s a fan favorite.

She’s a Chow mix with the softest coat and the kind of face that makes people smile before they even realize they’re doing it. But what really sets her apart? She’s brave.

While some of her littermates hang back a little, Goose walks right up and introduces herself. “Hi. Yes. I’m Goose. I would love some pets.” And then she leans in like she fully expects you to follow through.

She is incredibly sweet. Affectionate. Eager to connect. She doesn’t wait to be chosen — she chooses you first.

With other dogs, she’s fantastic. Super friendly. Confident. Easygoing. Her siblings sometimes pick on her a little — we suspect it’s because she’s so fluffy they’ve got something to grab onto — but she takes it like a sport. She might toss in a tiny “hey now” snap if someone gets too bold, but it’s all fair play and everyone loves her.

People love her.
Dogs love her.
She just fits.

Goose was rescued from a property alongside several other dogs, so she’s grown up in a pack environment and absolutely thrives with canine company. We would love to see her in a home with at least one friendly, confident dog so she can continue building on that confidence and social ease.

She’s playful but not overwhelming. Sweet but not timid. Smart, observant, and already showing signs of becoming a deeply bonded companion.

Truly, you can’t go wrong with Goose. Or any of her siblings, honestly — they are a wonderful group of puppies. But this Silly Goose? She has a way of walking right up and making you hers.

And once she does… you won’t be mad about it.

These precious Chow Chow puppies are looking for loving, committed homes. Experience with the Chow Chow breed is a HUGE plus and will be given strong preference during the application review process.

Chows are incredibly loyal, intelligent, and devoted companions — but they are also a strong-willed, protective breed that requires confident, knowledgeable ownership. Understanding their temperament, grooming needs, training requirements, and socialization challenges is essential.

We ask that all applicants do thorough breed research before applying to ensure this is truly the right fit for your home and lifestyle. These babies deserve families who understand and appreciate the unique qualities that make Chows so special.

We will be extremely careful and selective in placing these little loves to ensure they grow up in safe, experienced, and committed homes.

Goosie Girl and her siblings are part of our Benefactor Pup program. Their adoption fee is higher than our standard rate, and that difference directly funds dogs in critical medical or emergency situations within our rescue.

Benefactor Pup adoption fees allow us to say yes to heartworm-positive dogs, urgent medical cases, and those who need extended care before they’re ready for placement. When you adopt a Benefactor Pup, you’re not only bringing home an incredible companion — you’re helping another dog get their second chance, too.
