Kashik — lovingly called Kash — spent nearly his entire life with one person. Right before the holidays, his world changed forever when his owner became ill and passed away. After almost five years in the only home he had ever known, Kash suddenly found himself alone and spending Christmas in animal control.
Today, Kash is safe and thriving in foster care in Florida, and he's finally ready to find the forever family he deserves. This 5-year-old, 52-lb sweetheart has proven to be a wonderful companion. He loves car rides (and happily jumps in himself), enjoys walks, and absolutely adores toys — especially squeaky ones. Toys truly make him happy and help bring out his playful side.
Kash has met many other dogs and has been a complete gentleman with all of them. He enjoys calmly hanging out with canine friends but is just as content relaxing near his people. After spending time outdoors watching squirrels and birds, he's happiest cooling off inside with a toy close by.
In the home, Kash is easy to live with:
- Fully house trained — no accidents
- Comfortable staying home during the workday
- Calm and well-mannered indoors
- Friendly with new people while thoughtfully observant
Kash has already experienced heartbreaking loss, and what he wants most now is stability, companionship, and a family who will never let him feel forgotten again.
**Kashik is being fostered in Florida. Paid transport can be arranged. Transport costs range from $200-400.**
