Rosie is a 7-year-old Chow Chow mix who truly is the best girl. She has the perfect balance of playful and chill. She loves zooming around the yard, rolling in the grass, and then settling in to relax inside while watching movies with her favorite people.
Rosie is incredibly affectionate and will happily flop over for belly slaps when she’s comfortable. One of her favorite games is “Where’s Rosie?” — she’ll hide under the covers and wait for you to pull them back and “find” her. It never gets old.
She is crate trained, though she currently spends her days outside of the crate in the dining room and does great, no tearing things up or causing trouble. Rosie does well on walks and generally doesn’t pull, unless she spots a squirrel (and even then, she’s pretty manageable).
Rosie loves food a little too much and can be food aggressive with other animals despite training and careful management. Because of this, she would do best as the only pet in the home. She is also easily scared by young children, so a calm, adult-only home (or one with older, dog-savvy kids) would be the best fit for her.
This decision comes from a place of love, and Rosie deserves a home where she can feel relaxed, safe, and set up for success. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, affectionate companion who will steal your heart, Rosie could be your perfect match!
