At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. The application (link below) is the first step and helps us confirm that you and your household are a great fit. Once you submit it, text us right away. We’ll review it quickly, and if approved, we can often schedule a same-day adoption appointment so dogs spend less time waiting and more time loved.

💚 Meet Puffin 💚 Goofy grin and soft white hair. Puffin is the class clown of the trio full of curiosity and gentle fun. He gets along wonderfully with kids and other friendly pups and his small size makes him easy to handle in any household. Puffin is crate trained and does well with routines which makes him an easy dog for families that are busy but still want a companion who enjoys adventure. He loves meeting new people sniffing around the yard and chilling out with his humans at the end of the day.

We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
