Meet Gigi. She went into foster when she came to us. This is her foster moms input on Gigi.
Gigi is such a great dog! She is very sweet, cuddly, happy (her tail is always wagging), likes to get petted and will nudge your hand to let you know when she wants more. She loves to be near her person and would do best with a family that can spend a lot of time with her. Although she can be nervous and shy with new people and places, giving her patience and reassurance helps her work through it. Gigi is crate trained, likes to sit on my lap and get brushed (I call it her “Spa Time”) and she is excellent at going potty outside. She is not a fan of the cold weather, but does like to wear a nice, warm coat to make it more tolerable. This girl loves food and has no problem eating her meals. Her food bowl is licked clean every time! She also likes to use a lick mat (with peanut butter) and a snuffle mat with some kibble once in a while as a fun activity. One of her other favorite things is napping on a comfy dog bed with some blankets. Occasionally, she brings her stuffed toys to her bed and cuddles with them. It’s too cute! (Sometimes, she even brings her food bowl to her bed when she is done eating. Like I said, she loves food!) Gigi also dances when she gets excited, lays on her back when she wants those all-important belly rubs and is a cozy couch potato.
