Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. Sarabi is shy and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog.

Sarabi is Looking For: Her forever home! Sarabi is a sato - a dog from Puerto Rico. She did an amazing job of raising her babies Sophie, Sarah and Spencer, and they're off to get their own homes. It is now Sarabi's turn to get her own forever family! She came from a situation where she saw very little of the world - she's eager to explore it by the side of her new humans. Sniffy walks and lots and lots of cuddles - that's high on her list. And she needs a welcoming resident dog who will show her how to dog!

Most of all, though, she wants to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is there a spot for Sarabi in your lap and your life?
