Found as a neglected stray in the Rio Grande Valley, Delia’s past was a bit rough—she arrived flea-infested and missing the hair on her back. But those days are firmly in the rearview mirror! Today, her beautiful chocolate coat is growing back in, she’s reached a healthy weight, and she is officially living her best life.

Delia is the perfect mix of Sweet & Spicy. The Sweet: She is a professional snuggler. If you have a lap, she will find it. She absolutely adores "her" people and will shower you with affection once she knows you’re her person. The Spicy: She’s a tiny lady with a big personality. She knows what she wants (usually treats) and isn't afraid to let her presence be known. She is super food motivated, so if you have a snack, you have her heart.

Delia has a signature walk that is guaranteed to make you smile. She has a persistent, adorable waddle and looks cute doing it!

Delia is potty trained with outdoors and pee pads. She is trained to go outside when the weather is nice, but she is also fully pee-pad trained for indoor convenience. Small Disclaimer: Being a tiny girl, she does have the occasional accident, so a patient home is a must.

Delia is looking for a soft place to land where she can continue her "glow-up" journey. She needs a lap to curl up in, a few treats to sample, and a family that appreciates a resilient, waddling chocolate chihuahua. Is she your perfect match?
