Looking for a double dose of sweetness? Gordo Gordo is a charming 3-year-old Chihuahua who is ready to leave his past behind and discover the comforts of a real home. Having spent his entire life living outdoors, this "little man" is a bit shy at first and takes a little extra time to warm up to new faces.

However, once he allows you that first gentle head pet, he realizes you’re a friend and will willingly submit to all the snuggles you can give! He is looking for a patient, loving family willing to show him the ropes of indoor life. Since everything is brand new to this small fellow, he will need a guiding hand with potty, kennel, and leash training as he builds his confidence.

Gordo Gordo is a friend to other canines and gets along well with dogs of all sizes, though he hasn't met any cats just yet. Because he appreciates a calm environment, older children who can move at a slower pace and respect his space would be the perfect match for him. To make sure he’s healthy and ready for his new chapter, we have already begun his vaccine series, he is microchipped, and his neuter is officially scheduled.
