After three years of watching the world from the outside, Brownie is finally ready to step indoors and into your heart!

This 3-year-old Chihuahua mix has spent his entire life as an outdoor-only dog, so everything from soft carpets to cozy blankets is a brand-new adventure for him. Because he’s never known the luxury of a home, he can be a little hesitant when it comes to human touch at first—but the moment he feels your hand, his whole world changes. Once that first pet is given, he understands he’s safe, and he will melt right into you, snuggling his tiny body against your chest for the ultimate cuddle session.

Brownie is a friendly soul who gets along wonderfully with humans and dogs of all shapes and sizes! We haven't seen him around cats yet, but he is a gentle spirit who is eager to please. He is already microchipped, current on all his vaccinations, and has his neuter appointment on the books. After a lifetime of longing for a family of his own, Brownie is more than ready to trade the backyard for a lifetime of lap naps and loyalty.
