Meet Bruce! This handsome little dude is arriving this week from Texas and on the hunt for a foster or forever home!
Bruce is an adorable 7 month old Chihuahua mix may be small, but he has a BIG personality and plenty of puppy fun packed into his little body! Bruce is a sweet, playful guy who loves spending time with other dogs. He has plenty of puppy energy and enjoys playtime, but when the zoomies are over, he's happy to curl up beside his person for some well earned snuggles. He can happily be your one and only, too, making him a great little companion for an apartment or smaller home.
Bruce is doing amazing with his puppy training! He's working on potty training and learning to walk on a leash, and he's making great progress. He is also crate trained and sleeps peacefully in his crate all night without a fuss. Bruce has not yet been around cats or children, so his foster family is looking for a home that understands these introductions may need to be taken slowly and thoughtfully.
While at the shelter, Bruce was diagnosed with demodectic mange. He has received treatment with weekly medicated baths, and we're happy to report that his beautiful hair has completely grown back! He was neutered and is fully vaccinated. Swipe to the last pic to see Bruce's progress!
