Ricky is a darling little Chihuahua mix who arrived at our shelter as a stray. He may be a bit reserved when you first meet him, but underneath that initial shyness is a wonderfully affectionate little companion just waiting to feel safe.

Ricky will do best with a patient, loving person who understands that settling into a new home takes time. Give him the opportunity to decompress, let him come to you at his own pace, and you'll soon discover his cuddly side. Once Ricky feels comfortable, he loves nothing more than being close to his person and soaking up affection.

He enjoys the company of most other small dogs and would likely appreciate having a confident canine friend to help him feel secure and show him the ropes.
