Meet Sophia!
Sophia is an 8 year old sweetie. We think she is a long haired Chihuahua or possibly a mix of Chihuahua with another long haired breed. She is a very dainty girl, with delicate features.
Sophia is doing very well in her foster home and has come out of her shell. She has a playful side and loves to run around the house after her walks. She plays with a tennis ball occasionally though she is not overly energetic. She alert barks when she hears noises outside, so she may not be well suited for an apartment.
She is eating well and getting on a good potty schedule - with only a few accidents here and there - which is common when dogs arrive in a new setting.
Sophie gets along with people and dogs but has not yet been around children or cats.
She is good on a leash and goes for short walks. She loves to go for car rides and to cuddle whenever and wherever she can. She sleeps reluctantly in her kennel at night after multiple treats are provided.
She will make a great companion for someone who is familiar with the needs of a small and delicate dog.
Sophia is vaccinated and scheduled to be microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450
We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
