DESCRIPTION

Named for a famous mountainous area, our little Olivia is understandably aloof and majestic, but that doesn't mean she's cold. Once this little lady warms up to you, she's a consummate cuddler and loves a bit of a fuss, but she does sometimes need her alone time. She may look like she's napping, but this intrepid explorer has many exciting adventures to embark on, and sometimes it's a solo mission. She's willing to consider more dual expeditions if she can find the right travelling partner, so she'd love to audition you for the role. With just a touch of frosting on her sweet face, Olympia shows her wisdom and experience, and she's looking for someone to share it all with.

Here's some notes from her foster:

She is an easy house member who will make a great low-maintenance companion. She rides well in the car, although would benefit from a booster seat since she wants to look out the windows. She tries to keep up on walks, up to 0.7 miles, and then needs a good long nap.

We believe she would do best in a home that had no stairs, easy access to a backyard and a human/family that is simply okay with just being there for her and not expecting anything in return. A quiet home where she can spend the rest of her days, sleeping/napping and being watched over would be perfect. Along with someone being patient and following the 3-days, 3-weeks, 3-months rule.

In the short time she's been with us, she has become more alert, while still wanting her own space; so over time she may engage more with her forever family, but for now she just needs a place to spend her remaining days.

Few other items to share:

She appears to have some hearing impairment; did not react at all to any sounds.

She did not bark or make any significant sounds while at our place.

She's a good eater and enjoys treats (soft, small ones).

Indifferent to our other pets.

Her vision seems good for the most part.

She's a great sleeper...slept through the night (maybe 8 hours). And of course, naps a good bit throughout the day too.
