Hi, I’m Sashimi… and yes, I’m as fun as my name sounds.
I’m just a young puppy (around 6 months old), and I’m still learning all about the world, but one thing I already know for sure is that I love people. I’m affectionate, gentle, and happiest when I’m close to my humans. If you’re sitting down, I’ll happily come snuggle up next to you (or right on your lap if you let me!).
I have that classic puppy charm: curious, playful, and always ready to brighten your day with my adorable little face. Whether I’m exploring, playing with toys, or just following you around, I’m always trying to be part of whatever you’re doing.
I’m a sweet boy with a soft heart, and I’d love a home where I can grow, learn, and be loved. In return, I promise lots of cuddles, tail wags, and puppy kisses.
I came from a house with over 20 other dogs, so when I arrived at the sanctuary with my brothers and sisters, I was pretty scared. It only took me a couple of days to open up and show everyone what a fun guy I am!
I’m around 10 pounds, so I’m the perfect size for adventures during the day and cozy couch time at night.

I'm up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and dewormed. The sanctuary is accepting applications now!
The cost to adopt is $250, and the adoption process begins with an Adoption Application that is located at: www.faithfulfriendsnc.org/adopt
Once your completed application has been reviewed the humans will contact you with questions and/or set an appointment for you to meet me. Thank you! ABOUT: CHIHUAHUA DOG BREED
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
