Cooper may be a bit shy at first but warms up quickly—especially when there are cuddles involved! He is a one year old young pup only weighing 13 pounds, but he has a lot of love to give once he feels safe and secure. He had an abusive background so he enjoys his quiet time and his own space, but he loves sharing cuddles with the people he trusts. A calm and peaceful home would be ideal for him, where he can slowly blossom into the outgoing dog he was always meant to be. He gets along well with other dogs and is friendly with kennel mates. If you’re looking for a quiet yet affectionate companion who’ll grow to be your shadow, he is your guy.

The nature of rescuing animals doesn’t allow us to always know if an animal is fully housebroken. All of our dogs are kept safe in kennels and it’s not easy to fully confirm if they are housebroken. But they are all kennel trained and can be housebroken very quickly.
