Peky is a lovely 5-year-old Chihuahua (breed is a best guess based on looks, as all of our pups were rescued as strays in Mexico) with a wonderful personality and a heart full of love. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate—a true “shadow dog” who loves being close to her people.
Peky thrives on companionship and would do best in a home with another dog to keep her company. She does not enjoy being left alone for long periods and may try to find a way out if she’s alone for many hours. Because of this, her ideal home would be with a stay-at-home parent, someone who works from home, or a family who enjoys taking their dog along wherever they go.
She is very calm with low to moderate energy, making her an easy companion who enjoys simply being near her humans. Peky is happiest when surrounded by love and company.
Peky is currently being fostered in Mexico and will be transported to the U.S. once she finds her forever home.
