Meet Ingrid — a tiny senior Chihuahua with a delicate frame, a gentle soul, and a heart ready to love again.
Ingrid recently lost the only home she's ever known after her beloved owner passed away. It's been a big, confusing change for such a little girl, but through it all, she remains sweet, quiet, and deeply devoted to her people. She's the kind of companion who will stay close by your side, content just to be near you. She doesn't really show her age. She still has pep in her step!
At just a few pounds, Ingrid is truly pocket-sized—perfect for cozy laps, soft blankets, and slow, peaceful days. She's a refined lady who enjoys the simple things: warm naps, soft voices, and feeling safe.
Ingrid does have one small challenge—she isn't fully house-trained. She is crate trained and was previously pee pad trained, and she is working on becoming an outdoor-pottying princess in her foster home. With patience, consistency, and a kind heart, she'll need someone willing to guide her and give her grace as she adjusts. Think of it as part of her charm... she's tiny, after all, so her “oops” moments are, too.
What Ingrid really needs is a quiet, loving home where she can feel secure again and bond deeply with her person. She may be in her golden years, but she still has so much love to give—and she deserves a soft place to land.
