Hi, I'm Zvolen

I'm a 3-4 year old, 18 lb small/medium mixed breed with a gentle soul-and a story that's still being written. I came from a hoarding situation in Southern California, and while I may not have had the easiest start, I've already come such a long way since arriving here.

I'm learning that the world isn't so scary... but I still need a patient, understanding human to help me continue that journey. Trust doesn't come instantly for me-it's something we'll build together over time. I do best with a slow, calm approach, especially when it comes to handling.

My crate is my safe space, and I can be a bit protective of it, so I'll need someone who understands how to respectfully work with me getting in and out of it. With the right guidance and consistency, I'll keep making progress.

Because of my background, I would do best in a quiet home without kids or a lot of busy activity. A predictable environment will help me feel secure and allow my personality to continue to blossom.

Underneath it all, I'm a sensitive, deserving little guy who just needs someone willing to meet me where I am. If you have a calm home, a gentle approach, and the patience to let me come around at my own pace, I truly believe we could form something really special.
