At about 8 months old and 10 pounds, this long-haired Chihuahua mix is a soft, fluffy masterpiece with the kind of ears that deserve their own fan club. Those adorable wispy ear floofs give her an irresistibly whimsical look, like she might actually lift off if she gets excited enough. Spoiler: the squeaky toy might be what does it.

Butterfly is slow to warm up with new people and places, but honestly, she’s just in her cocoon phase. She likes a little time to take it all in, make sure the vibes are right, and decide that yes, this seems like a safe place to let her personality emerge. The fastest route to her heart? Snacks. This girl is highly treat motivated, which means patience plus cookies equals progress. She’s basically a tiny, fluffy scientist conducting very important trust experiments.

Once she starts to feel safe, her playful side begins to flutter out. Butterfly absolutely loves her canine friends and seems to gain confidence from having dog buddies around. She’s happiest when she can join in with the pack, chase a squeaky toy, and let herself forget that she was ever supposed to be shy in the first place.

She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Her 4DX test is negative for heartworm and tick-borne disease, because even the prettiest little wings deserve strong foundations.
