Meet Dazee!

Dazee is a 5-year-old, 7-pound Chihuahua–Terrier mix from New York City with a gentle soul and lots of love to give. She's an affectionate, observant, and smart little pup who forms strong bonds with her people.

Since arriving in her foster home, Dazee has been adjusting nicely to city life. She loves cozy cuddle time, exploring outside at her own pace, and, of course, enjoying her favorite snacks.

Dazee is continuing to build her confidence and skills. She's making great progress with indoor pee pads and is learning basic commands like “sit.” She appears to have had experience with a yard in the past, so she's still getting used to city routines.

She walks well on leash and is improving every day. Dazee can be a bit nervous in busy environments (like elevators and crowded streets), but with patience and quieter outings, she's already starting to come out of her shell.

Dazee thrives on companionship and loves being close to her humans. She is currently working through some separation anxiety, so she would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. Another small, friendly dog would likely help her feel more comfortable and secure.

She's not too interested in toys, but she is very food-motivated and will happily show off her adorable little hops for a treat.

Dazee is looking for a calm, loving home that can give her both relaxation and gentle activity. She would do best in a low-key household, with or without children, and would especially thrive with 1–2 other small dogs and a consistent human presence.

With a little patience and a lot of love, Dazee will be the most loyal and snuggly companion you could ask for.

Vaccinated for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Neutered and microchipped. Tested for vector-borne illnesses. Current on flea, tick, and heart worm prevention.

We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available.
