Chihuahua Dogs Available for Adoption

Mama Chi was rescued from a breeding situation where she was no longer producing viable pups so was not wanted any more. She is approx. 9 years old and about 5-7 lbs.

This beautiful, sweet girl is frightened and will need a patient adopter willing to slowly introduce her to a world she has probably never seen. She was very fearful her first time on leash, so we think she has never been on one before.

She seems to like being held, and would do better in a quieter home without small children.

WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs.

If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required, which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.

ADOPTION FEE of $ covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap, so thank you for understanding and helping us save as many as possible.

We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend. If you would like to see a specific animal, please let us know via email and we will try to accommodate. However, we cannot guarantee the animal will be at the event without an approved application. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage or our
