MEET HONEY! 🐾
Honey’s story started with hardship, but her future is full of hope. She was rescued from a neglectful situation, and thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, she’s now safe and ready for a fresh start.

True to her name, Honey is as sweet as can be! She’s approximately 2 years old, weighs about 5 pounds, and is the perfect size for just about any home—whether you’re a family with children or a senior looking for a loving companion.

Honey absolutely adores:

Kiddos (dress-up time is her favorite!)

Other dogs

Leisurely walks on a leash

Snuggling on the couch while you watch TV or chat about your day

Watching the world go by from a cozy window seat
She has a gentle, loving personality and doesn’t require a high level of exercise—just a warm home and someone to love.

Honey will be fully vetted through GDRST, including vaccinations. Her spay will be scheduled in the coming weeks.

ADOPTION CONTRIBUTION FEE: $200.00

In many cases, the cost of vetting services is greater than the adoption contribution. The adoption contributions help defray the costs of vetting services, but rarely, if ever, cover all expenses. Additional donations are welcomed and appreciated. Please consider making a donation to help offset medical expenses.

GDRST will have the following services completed as part of the adoption process. Each animal will be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, heartworm treated if applicable, fecal tested, de-wormed, microchipped and monthly heartworm preventative

Please note GDRST is an all-volunteer, run by individuals with full time careers. In order to meet with a Dane that you are interested in, please complete our online application. After receiving your application, a volunteer will verify with your vet the care on your current or previous animals and then contact you to set up a home eval and to discuss which Dane may be a match for you.
