Lily Sage - Chihuahua and Dachshund Dog for Adoption in Friendswood, Texas

Lily Sage may be tiny, but once she decides you’re her person, she gives you her whole little heart. This adorable 3-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix weighs just 8 pounds and can be a little shy when she first enters a new space. Give her a little time to settle in, though, and you’ll quickly see how deeply she bonds with the people she trusts.

Once Lily feels comfortable, her playful side comes right out. Her foster says she still plays like a puppy and absolutely loves spending time with other dogs. She would be a great match for a home with canine friends who enjoy having a little playmate around.

Lily also knows how to slow things down. She loves being close to her humans and is happiest when she can curl up nearby for some quiet time. She has a low to medium energy level, so she offers a nice balance of playful moments and relaxed companionship.

She is housebroken and has already shown what a patient little girl she can be. Lily does great with kids, and her foster feels she could fit well into just about any type of family. She is also curious about cats but has not shown aggression toward them.

Because Lily can be shy in unfamiliar places, she’ll do best with a family willing to give her a little time to feel safe and settle in. Once she does, she becomes incredibly connected to her people and lets her sweet, playful personality shine.

At only 8 pounds, Lily Sage is a tiny companion with plenty of personality packed into one little body. She’s ready for a family who will give her the security, affection, playtime, and companionship she loves.
