What makes this guy so special? He’s a certified shadow dog. If you’re heading to the kitchen, he’s your sous chef; if you’re headed to the couch, he’s your weighted blanket. He isn’t just looking for a house; he’s looking for a human to call his own. He is much more of a "hang out and be your bestie" type than an "independent explorer." If you want a dog who truly values your company, Cash is your man!
We like to think of him as a perfectly portable medium sized 19lb package! While his DNA is a mystery as with all the best rescues! He's got the look of a Chihuahua Pug charm with a sturdy build that’s easy to take on weekend adventures. He’s big enough to keep up on a hike but compact enough to not take up the entire bed… just most of it!
He has been spending his time hanging out at Foster Setting. He is doing fantastic with his crate training and is a total rockstar when it comes to his potty training routine. He’s a quick learner who genuinely wants to please his people, making him a dream for someone who loves a dog with a "can do" attitude.
When it comes to other dogs, he’s a lover, not a fighter! He does best with dogs who can show him the ropes. He can be a bit overwhelmed for some dogs so he’d thrive most with a confident, medium energy dog sibling who isn’t afraid to tell him when it’s time to settle down. He’s super submissive and just wants to fit in, making him a great candidate for a home that already has a grounded doggy mentor.
Does he like cats? He had all great signs during his cat test! He’s generally pretty chill around feline friends, though his puppy curiosity might lead to a playful chase! Although like any young guy, he’s always up for a supervised kitty sleepover to make sure his future kitty roommate approves of his vibe.
The ideal spot for this guy? He’d love a home with a fenced in yard where he can zoom to his heart's content, but honestly, as long as he’s with you, he’s happy. He’d be a great fit for an active family or even a patient apartment dweller who is committed to daily walks and plenty of playtime. His cutest quirk? He’s a total sucker for a soft toy and will likely carry one around like a prize.
In short, he’s a young, submissive, and incredibly sweet pup who is just waiting for the right person to lead the way. He’s got the heart of a lion and the coordination of a newborn giraffe and we wouldn't have it any other way!

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!
Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience!
The adoption fee is $1,200.00 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers are dedicated to each dog’s growth and we enjoy seeing their progress!
We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
