Meet Georgia, a sweet senior Chihuahua estimated to be about 8 years old. Georgia is a euthanasia rescue who has been through a big life change. Imagine being with a family for eight years and suddenly finding yourself in animal control, with no one coming to look for you. It’s no wonder she’s feeling a little shy and unsure at first.

Despite it all, Georgia has a gentle spirit and would love a slow, easy-going home where she can feel safe and cherished. She enjoys short walks but is just as happy relaxing by your side or lounging in a secure backyard. She doesn’t take up much space—just a little spot in your heart and home.

Georgia would likely do best in a home with older children and calmer dogs her size who can respect her quiet nature. When she arrived at ARF, she needed a dental procedure, which has now been completed. She’s feeling so much better and is ready to start her next chapter.
