Paco is an adorable 1‐year‐old Chihuahua weighing about 5 pounds, and he's one half of a deeply bonded duo with his brother, Nacho. Paco is the more sensitive of the pair--he relies on Nacho for comfort and confidence, and being near him helps Paco feel safe in new situations. Because of their close bond, Paco and Nacho must be adopted together.
Both boys were surrendered to us after their owner had to move and could no longer keep them. The family members who took them in afterward also couldn't keep them due to having too many pets. Despite all the changes they've been through, Paco has remained sweet and gentle, warming up quickly once he knows he's in a safe environment--especially with Nacho by his side.
Paco does very well with other dogs his size and has shown friendly, social behavior here at the facility. Our veterinary team cleared both him and Nacho as healthy.
The adoption fee for the pair is $600.
Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.
Upon intake, every animal receives:
Spay/neuter surgery
Microchip
All age‐appropriate vaccinations
Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)
Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention
A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption
Please note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
If you'd like to meet Paco and Nacho, we'd be happy to help. Paco is a tender little soul who blossoms with his best friend nearby, and together they'll bring double the love to their forever home. 🐾✨
