DESCRIPTION

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817‐984‐1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.

Nacho (Nacho Libre, though we just call him Nacho) is a sweet 1‐year‐old Chihuahua weighing about 8 pounds, and he's the confident, steady half of a bonded pair with his brother Paco. Nacho helps Paco feel secure, and the two boys rely on each other deeply. Because of this, they must be adopted together.

They were surrendered to us after their owner had to move and could no longer keep them. The family members who took them in afterward also couldn't keep them due to having too many pets. Through all the transitions, Nacho has remained friendly, social, and quick to warm up to new people--his easygoing nature also helps Paco feel safe.

Nacho does very well with other dogs his size and has shown great social behavior here at the facility. Our veterinary team cleared both him and Paco as healthy. The adoption fee for the pair is $600.

Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.

Upon intake, every animal receives:

Spay/neuter surgery

Microchip

All age‐appropriate vaccinations

Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)

Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption

Please note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.

If you'd like to meet Nacho and Paco, we'd be happy to help. Nacho is a loving, steady little dog who brings out the best in Paco, and together they make a truly heartwarming pair. 🐾✨
