Don’t let the fancy name fool you — Gazpacho is only 4 pounds, but in his mind he’s at least 80 pounds of pure dog energy. This tiny guy is packed with personality, curiosity, and just the right amount of chaos to keep life entertaining. Gazpacho is full of life and absolutely loves squeaky toys. If it squeaks, bounces, or can be proudly paraded around the house, it’s immediately his favorite thing. Despite his pocket-sized stature, he approaches the world with big-dog confidence and zero awareness that he could probably fit in a coffee mug.
The good news? This little dude has excellent house manners — he’s house trained and already knows how to live politely in a home. He’s also working on kennel training like the smart boy he is. At just 4 pounds, Gazpacho is small enough to go anywhere but brings a huge amount of joy, personality, and entertainment wherever he lands. If you’re looking for a tiny companion with a big spirit (and a love for squeaky toys), Gazpacho might just be your perfect match. And honestly… at 4 pounds, does he even count as a dog? We’ll let you decide.
Gazpacho is a 3-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Gazpacho is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.
