Goofy, Snuggly, Becomes Your Best Friend in Three Days

Good with dogs? Meebs gets along well with three other dogs in his foster home and takes daily pack walks with them. He prefers smaller dogs but does well with larger dogs too. He likes to greet every dog he meets while out walking on a leash.

Good with cats? He lives with two cats and avoids them, but does not mind if they come to sleep near him.

Good with kids? He is generally fearful of new people and will do best with kids over 12 who can read his body language and give him space to feel safe until becoming good friends.

Energy level: Medium. He loves a couple of long walks each day and plays in a fenced yard. He enjoys chasing balls and chewing on toys. He will just snuggle on the couch with his people.

Animal Characteristics: Meebs is a goofy, snuggly little dog who needs just about three days to build trust with each new person in his life. He is highly intelligent, food motivated, loves treats, and appreciates not being touched until he feels safe. Once he trusts you, he is a fantastic, super happy boy who just wants to be by your side and will do anything you ask. He is busy learning about commands, completing his potty training, and loves riding in a car. He barks occasionally at door knocks or strange noises and will be happiest in a home without a lot of strangers coming in. Meebs prefers to be near his trusted humans, sleeping or just hanging out. He feels safe sleeping in an open top pen at night. He will benefit from consistent socialization and training so that he can relax and blossom in his loving cozy, loving forever home!
