DESCRIPTION
My name is Darcy. I weigh about 30 lbs. I came from a home with other dogs and cats, as well as children, with whom I got along very well. I do have to be fed seperately as I am very possessive of my grub. I have been an indoor dog and am house and crate trained. I am very people motivated and will go to great lengths to be with my people. I know basic commands, like to go for walks and car ride, and even tolerate a bath (when necessary).
ABOUT: BASENJI DOG BREED
The Basenji is a small hunting dog known for its unique traits, including a highly distinctive yodel like sound instead of a typical bark, and the inability to bark like other dogs. Originating from Africa, these intelligent and curious dogs are independent, agile, and alert, making them excellent companions for active individuals or families with experience handling their assertive nature. Recognized for their clean habits and cat like grooming behavior, basenjis require regular exercise and mental stimulation to thrive in a loving home environment.
The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.
