Meet Lucia! This petite 1 year old chihuahua mix came to us all the way from Puerto Rico. Lucia was a street dog on the island until she was brought into our rescue partner, loaded up on a plane, and flown all the way to us in sunny South Carolina! Lucia is understandably shy and unsure of her new life so far. But, with time she is beginning to blossom in our care. Lucia is dog friendly, sweet, and loving once she is comfy. She will need training and socialization once in a forever home. Lucia will need some extra help on her confidence, but she is smart and eager to thrive! Lucia is going to make a wonderful addition to any home!
